If you need rehabilitative care in a hospital setting, Burke’s inpatient Neurorehabilitation program provides intensive daily therapy and medical care to help you feel better and return home.

What to Expect
Burke offers two programs, LSVT-LOUD (speech therapy) and LSVT- BIG (physical therapy). These programs are research-based and proven to be effective in the management of Parkinson's Disease. Each program runs for 4 consecutive weeks and consists of 16 one-on-one treatment sessions with your caring, experienced therapist.
LSVT-LOUD
Designed to help improve your speech and voice, you’ll work with our highly trained speech-language pathologists to:

- Improve your voice’s volume and loudness
- Preserve and/or enhance your communication abilities
- Ease swallowing issues
- Continue with everyday communication
- Incorporate at-home exercises to further enhance your treatment
LSVT-BIG
Designed to help you with movement and walking, you’ll work with our highly trained physical therapists to:

- Learn specific exercises to amplify large movement patterns
- Implement movement strategies in your daily life
- Incorporate at-home exercises to enhance your treatment and maintain improvements

Maintain Your Progress
Upon completion of LSVT-BIG, become a member of Burke’s Fitness & Wellness Center. Maintain your progress and health under the supervision of Burke’s experienced trainers, who have degrees and/or are certified in exercise and sports. In a safe, supportive environment, follow a personalized exercise program created just for you.
