Dr. Clayton Mucha has joined Burke as a new faculty physician. Dr. Mucha earned his Medical Degree from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Montefiore Medical Center and his Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Mucha’s interests lie in the neurorehabilitation of both inpatients and outpatients, including comprehensive spasticity management, brain injury recovery, and concussion care. He is an active member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Academy of PM&R, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the New York Society of PM&R. Dr. Mucha presented sleep disorders in traumatic brain injury (TBI) population, pharmacological and complementary medicine interventions in TBI, and multiple case studies in national meetings. He joins the inpatient neurorehabilitation team and also offers outpatient practice for spasticity, concussion, and other outpatient neurorehabilitation service.
