Dr. Elizabet Santana Marmon-Halm is a clinical neuropsychologist at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. She specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation and treatment of adults with a variety of neurological and neurodegenerative conditions, including multiple sclerosis (MS), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), dementia (e.g., Alzheimer’s type, vascular, FTD, etc.), traumatic brain injury, movement disorders, stroke, brain tumor and other medical illnesses that may impact cognition. 

She received her Master’s degree in Psychology from Columbia University and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where her training focused on interdisciplinary care and clinical neuropsychology. She completed her APA-accredited internship at the Department of Veterans Affairs, New Jersey Health Care System and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Department of Neurology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.  

Dr. Santana Marmon-Halm is sensitive to cross-cultural and cross-linguistic considerations and provides clinical services in English and Spanish. She has gained neuropsychological assessment and intervention experience in a variety of diverse hospital settings, including Mount Sinai, NYU, Columbia Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital and Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. She has also been involved in several studies aimed at identifying and remediating cognitive difficulties in both TBI and multiple sclerosis (MS).  She is committed to providing the highest quality patient-centered care and is a member of the American Psychological Association (Divisions 22, and 40), the International Neuropsychological Society, the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society, the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
